Make It Artsy: Filming Season 1 (part three)
June 07, 2016
Today I'm back with some more behind-the-scenes photos from the Make It Artsy set! For those of you who asked, yes you can view a new episode online for free each week. Follow Make It Artsy on Facebook and Instagram to get all the latest info on what is airing where/when! You will also be able to purchase DVDs.
Episodes will begin airing online and on your local PBS station on September 29. You're going to want to tune is this fall! If you'd like to request that your local PBS station carry the show, you can find contact information for your local station here.
Lots of boxes of supplies arrive at the studio, but the good folks at Art Foamies took some time to make theirs stand out!
Here's a peek at what I made with those stamps:
Don't worry! I'll be sharing all the projects I made for the show as episodes air and you'll be able to download .pdf instructions for all of my projects from the Make It Artsy website!
But now let's get back to the fabulous guests. And speaking of fabulous, Kathy Cano-Murillo (aka The Crafty Chica) brought her sparkly glitter magic to the show!
She totally floored me with her resin/oil pastel project. Wait until you see it!
After seeing a YouTube video of hers, I invited Roxanne Coble (aka by bun) to be a guest on the show.
Her work is totally scrumptious -- in photos and in person!
Finally, you may remember my friend Jenn Mason. She and I used to host Mixed Media Workshop for Interweave.
She shared tons of great techniques and ideas that I think you're going to love. We both live in the Boston area and she was the last guest of the series, so we flew home together. Cue the Cleveland airport selfie:
With all these talented guests, with all these amazing projects, with all this happy energy, I have to believe that Make It Artsy is going to be such a cool show! It's entertainment plus education plus empowerment!
I hope you'll tune in! Thanks for stopping by!
