Make It Artsy: Filming Season 1 (part two)
June 01, 2016
Thanks for all your nice comments on yesterday's photos! For those of you who asked, yes you can view a new episode online for free each week. Follow Make It Artsy on Facebook and Instagram to get all the latest info on what is airing where/when! You will also be able to purchase DVDs.
Episodes will begin airing online and on your local PBS station on September 29. You're going to want to tune is this fall! If you'd like to request that your local PBS station carry the show, you can find contact information for your local station here.
Today I'm back with some more behind-the-scenes photos from the Make It Artsy set. The "Green Room" is the place where everything gets organized and guests mix and mingle.
It's also the center of all organization, including what outfit I'm supposed to wear for each episode....
We film the show completely out of order and while it may seem simple to remember what outfit goes with what episode...it gets confusing very quickly!
But, let's get back to the guests!
Joe Rotella blew me away with a series of super cool projects. I especially loved his Tardis lamp and succulent book garden.
I have been a fan of Mou Saha since I first saw here inventive scrapbook pages. On the show she shared tons of great tips -- my favorite was on how-to create shadows when you paint with watercolor.
Seth Apter brought his urban grunge aesthetic to the show, working with found objects.
I always love seeing what Dina Wakley has created. She shared lots of tips for painting, collaging, stamping, and embracing carefree creating!
There are so many more great projects and guests to share with you! I hope you're getting excited because I was blown away by this season's guests. Everyone brought their "A" game and shared ideas and techniques super generously. I really feel like this is going to be such a great show. I can't wait for September to get here!
I'll be back with more photos and part 3 next week!
Thanks for stopping by!
