Riv's Jane Austen Paper Flower Bouquet

My friend Riv is getting married in October. Her whole wedding has a literary theme, with a special emphasis on Jane Austen.

This past weekend I hosted a bachelorette weekend for her.  We spent much of the weekend crafting a fabulous paper flower bouquet for her.  The flowers were made from pages of Jane Austen's novels.  Take a peek at the process (and try to ignore the fact that I'm in my pajamas):

We mixed the paper flowers with faux greenery from the craft store and voila:

Riv couldn't be happier with her huge, fabulous, personalized, hand crafted wedding bouquet!  It took four of us two long nights to create this bouquet, but I think it was absolutely worth the effort!  It turned out gorgeous!

A year or two ago I did a tutorial on making paper flowers like these -- without the stems or pistil & stamens.  You can find that video below:

Do you get the idea or do you need to see how these book page flowers were constructed?  Let me know!

Thanks for stopping by!
