$1 Bunny Window Clings Become Stamps!

I was at Target on Saturday and they had tons of Easter stuff in the $1 section.  I saw some Bunny Gel Clings (they're these gel-ly things that stick to your windows to decorate for holidays) and I thought, I wonder if they'd work as mini gelatin printing plates?  As a bonus, they had a textured surface and for $1, why not take the risk?  So I did.

Watch the video for my explorations with paint and ink and bunny window clings:

And this is the Easter card that I made from those window clings:

You can see that the black bunny is popped up with a few foam dots to give it some separation from the background.

I didn't have any black rhinestones, so I colored a clear one with a Copic marker!

I pulled apart a Q-Tip for the cotton tail!

I couldn't help myself from getting punny with the sentiment....

And I always stamp the backs of my hand made cards so that the recipient knows that it's hand made!

Not bad for some $1 window clings, huh?

They sell these cling things all over the place and in all kinds of shapes and sizes.  I'm thinking it's time for another trip to the store.  How about you?

Thanks for stopping by!
