What Two Hours of Stitching Looks Like
May 09, 2018
When people look at my embroidery they often ask, "How long did that take you?" The fact is, I don't really keep track of it. But, I did take before and after photos from a recent three-hour flight.
Can you see the changes? They're all above the right eye.
Given the fact that I used the bathroom, ate, chatted with my seat mate, etc. I would say that this can be counted as two hours of stitching. It's a slow process, but I love it!
If you're interested, I did some googling and I found two answers I agree with on how long hand embroidery takes:
- How long should embroidery take me?
- How long does it take you? (scroll down in the FAQs)
Also, there's a super fun tutorial from Brit + Co on how to turn hand embroidery into a patch here. I might have to try that one!
Thanks for stopping by!
