If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here. All of the previous posts can be found archived here. Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day! No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week, use the hashtag #artjournaleveryday so that we can all take a peek. Even if you're not on social media, you can see everything (from twitter, pinterest, instagram, and facebook) that uses that hashtag here.
Today I'm sharing three pages from daily art journal. I go through phases with my art journal, as you know. I have to confess that I don't love the pages from this period. They feel kind of sad -- and they might be. My Dad had recently passed away and art is always an expression of how you feel. Take a peek for yourself:
This is kind of a fun page. The left side was not done by me. It's a large envelope that was gifted to me by a student. I bound it into my junque journal. When I got to this page, I decided to try and match the left side so that a viewer wouldn't know the two pages had been created by two different people and years apart! Can you tell?
Thanks for stopping by!
