If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, the concept is simple: It's a commitment to take ten minutes each day to do something in your art journal. No need to finish anything or even like it. It's about making the time to nourish your creativity every day! If you have the time to flip through your phone, you have the time to Art Journal Every Day. If you'd like to share what you make, use the hashtag #artjournaleveryday so that we can all take a peek. You can find new Art Journal Every Day posts here on the blog most Fridays. The archives go back to the first Art Journal Every Day post in 2010.
Recently, I did a bit of experimenting on some 6x6 mixed media boards from The Crafter's Workshop. I played around with mixing pastes and gels with watercolor powder and then putting that mixture through some of my stencils. I really liked the results, but I wasn't sure what to do with all of these 6x6 boards I had created. So, I thought for a moment and the answer seemed so obvious: make art journals out of them, of course!
One journal is full of junque.
The other two journals have some junque pages but lots of blank pages -- pretty unusual for me.
I can't decide whether to use them or sell them. I'm tempted to do both -- sell two and keep one for me to play around in. But which one should I keep? I want them all! LOL. This is why nothing ever leaves my house. ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
